Roller coaster.

I haven't blogged since February?! That time really has flown!!

I've been living in Felixstowe a year and have also completed my first year at University!!
This year really has been full of ups and downs but I have a great support network of friends and family that I wouldn't have made it through without!!
A new start at university is a tough one, although it's great fun too! This year it's safe to say that I struggled with being by myself in a whole new community of people and my way of coping with it made me completely shut down. A couple of weeks before my Easter holiday from uni I became very anxious and low to the point where I wouldn't leave my uni room for days at a time, not even for meals or lectures.
If it weren't for my supportive friends I'd made at uni I don't know how I would have gone back after the Easter break.

Speaking of support networks, I have to say I feel very lucky to have friends and family all over the UK who I can count on! Even more so after just coming back from a week at territorial music school and having spent a lot of time with such a precious group of girls. I'm so happy to now be a part of their TMS family (although now I miss them a heck of a lot!!)
The conversations and fellowship with these girls really has taught me that whatever situation we are going through we can count on our Christian family to be there through thick and thin. However small or big the situation is I can gladly say I know that I have some lush friends (not only from church life) dotted all around the place that will be there for me just like I will for them! But there's one other special guy we need to trust in - God. Something I struggle with a lot considering the events of this past year.

Well that's a blog post and a half! I won't leave it that long again.
